For the past ten years, Ann has
managed the growth and
development of mission-driven
organizations.
She combines her knowledge
of OD theory with hands-on
experience in community
organizing, leadership
development, fiscal oversight,
board development, survey
analysis, strategy
development, fundraising,
design of structure and
systems, and succession
planning. She has supported
capacity-building work with
groups around the country
through training, facilitation
and technical assistance.
Ann has had the privilege of
leading two dynamic,
well-respected organizations:
the Youth Education Alliance in
Washington, DC (which is
dedicated to education justice)
and Young Women United in
Albuquerque, NM (which is
committed to the health and
safety of women of color).
Ann received her M.S. in
Organization Development
from American University / NTL
Institute with distinction, and
holds a B.A. in Latin American
History from Cornell University.
She is a member of the NTL
Institute and OD Network, and
is a recipient of the Vallecitos
Activist Award and the Morley
Segal & Edith Whitfield
Seashore Fellowship Award.
Ann is a native speaker of
Spanish and English.
Patrick Masterson
Partner
Patrick is an experienced
trainer and facilitator who has
provided support around the
country to organizations
seeking to create meaningful
and lasting change. He has
consulted to groups in
leadership development,
structure and governance
change, mergers, alignment,
meeting facilitation,
organizational assessment,
and strategy development.
As Interim Executive Director of
a national organization, Patrick
was charged with managing
and leading a two-year
organization and governance
change effort that included
restructuring of one of the
largest multiple-employer
401Ks in the country. This work
resulted in 53% asset growth
and an increase in
participation from 800
members to over 1,100
participants. The restructuring
also yielded a 50% cost
savings in fees, the realization
of a 7-12% increase in return
on investments, and a
$300,000 reimbursement to
participants for past charges.
Patrick received his M.S. in
Organization Development
from American University / NTL
Institute with distinction, and
his B.A. in Cultural and
Interdisciplinary Studies with a
concentration in education
from Antioch College. He is a
member of the NTL Institute
and OD Network, and is a
proud recipient of the Morley
Segal & Edith Whitfield
Seashore Fellowship in OD.
